Baby Blessings are a modern-day and non-religious alternative to a christening or baptism. Ceremonies. They can, however, be tailored to accommodate different faiths, cultures and spiritual beliefs.
As a modern civil celebrant, Laura will create a warm, inclusive and highly personalised baby blessing. She interviews you about your child and your family, then crafts a ceremony especially for you.
Your tailored-made baby blessing will officially welcome your child into the world, share wishes for their future and reflect on the joys and responsibilities of being a parent. Godparents or mentors are often appointed and a water blessing can be included.
Having a celebrant present lends some formality, professionalism and cohesion to the day, however ceremonies are still very warm and relaxed in nature. Laura's aim is to create happy, relaxed and highly personalised occasion for the whole family to enjoy.
